Some of our cycling garments have been proven to be good for women as well as men. Lycra can accommodate different body shapes so Tall & Chain can offer an alternative. Our gloves were a hit for one customer who wasn’t tall but had long fingernails, so our customer base is wider than originally anticipated! We are already in discussions with suppliers for producing future cycling clothing with options tailored for women – the pad in bib shorts is a major difference that will will be able to accommodate, but shaping and size options also need to be developed.

As for our SixSummit Prologue range,  some garments are branded as unisex from the manufacturers which is great. Women (and Men) who aren’t even tall have liked trying our samples over the development period, as some people prefer extra length in the clothing. As with the cycling clothing, we will look to add female specific clothing to our casual wear. We haven’t been able to source anything off the shelf, so this will be custom made – the more women in the SixSummit Community and supporting what we currently offer is really important for ability to better help in the future…
